Each month we feature a different local cultural attraction on our website. Walton residents can visit the featured attraction of the month with their family members, and Walton will reimburse up to 90% of the ticket price for admission!

Disney on Ice: 100 Years of Magic
Get ready for the ultimate Disney experience! Be charmed by a cast of over 50, with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and the Princesses. Re-live the magic of Disney’s Frozen with Anna, Elsa and Olaf. Sing along to over 30 songs from other Disney favorites.

Chattahoochee Nature Center
Nature comes alive when you visit the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Follow the Wildlife Walk to view beaver and native birds of prey. Explore the Chattahoochee River watershed through interactive exhibits, live animal habitats and hands-on fun. Enjoy the wonders of Georgia’s wilderness as you walk along the woodland trails. Meander through the Butterfly Garden and visit the new Native Plant Garden and Green Roof Garden.
Open Monday- Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm; Sunday, noon-5 pm.
Admission: Adults $10, Seniors (65+) and Students (13-18) $7, Children (3-12) $6, Children 2 and under FREE.

OCTOBER - The Augusta Museum of History
The Augusta Museum of History is dedicated to collecting, preserving and interpreting history in relation to the past of Augusta and its environs for the education and enrichment of present and future generations. Explore the history of golf and its legacy in Augusta, view rare memorable and personal artifacts which vividly tell the story of James Brown’s rise to worldwide fame. Learn about 12,000 years of local history, from the first Native Americans through the Federal Era, Antebellum Period, the Civil War, Reconstruction and the making of a New South.
Open Monday-Saturday 10 am – 5 pm, Sunday noon- 5 pm.
Admission: Adults $4, Seniors $3, Children 6-18 $2, Children 5 and under free.
