Each month we feature a different local cultural attraction on our website. Walton residents can visit the featured attraction of the month with their family members, and Walton will reimburse them 90% of the ticket price for admission!

June - Imagine It! The Children's Museum of Atlanta!
A smart place to play and a non-profit organization offering a family-friendly space filled with interactive, educational exhibits and programming – especially for children ages 8 and under. The museum’s mission is to spark imagination and inspire discovery and learning for all children through the power of play.
Admission: $12.75 plus tax (ages 1 to 100).

June - The Augusta Canal National Heritage Area & Petersburg Boat Tour
Built in 1845 to harness power of the Savannah River, the Augusta Canal offers history, recreation and unique experiences along miles of towpath, trail and waterway. Visit the Interpretive Center at Enterprise Mill and enjoy a one-hour Canal Heritage Petersburg Boat Tour. (This offer is only for daytime boat tours). For reservations, call 706-823-0440 ext. 4.
