We are committed to supporting our residents through exceptionally maintained communities and unique service programs. We strive to be a vehicle to help people connect and go beyond building a place where people live by creating a neighborhood where people thrive.

Each month, it is our pleasure to offer our residents a complimentary Book of the Month. Just stop by the Community Office the first week of the each month to pick up your FREE book to add to your home library. Please reference your community newsletter for the current book of the month selection!
Each month we feature a unique local cultural attraction. Walton residents can visit the featured attraction of the month with their family members, and Walton will reimburse up to 90% of the ticket price for admission! Learn More
Walton Communities offers counseling to residents in need. To schedule your counseling session, simply contact one of the counseling partners listed below. Walton will pay for up to four visits per family per year (with a $10 per visit co-pay by the resident). Be sure to tell them you are a Walton resident when you schedule your appointment. All counseling sessions are strictly confidential.

The Single Parent Program connects the single parents in our communities to one another, fosters life-long relationships, identifies needs among our residents and provides monthly social and informational events educating parents on specific topics of interest. Complimentary child care is available for children birth-5th grade. Mini-groups are held monthly at select communities. Monthly meetings take place at Town Hall at Walton Reserve. Learn More
Walton partners with the Ferst Foundation to provide a monthly age-appropriate book to children birth-age 5. Books are mailed to the child each month. This program is designed to promote a habit of reading in children and to get parents involved in reading to their children. Residents who relocate within Georgia will continue to receive the book until the age 5 (parent must provide a change of address to the Ferst Foundation). Five of our communities offer after-school enrichment programs and a summer camp program for children in grades K-5 who live in the community. These are offered free of charge to the residents. The programs in our Atlanta Adventure Centers are under the direction of and run by Parents with a Purpose, a non-profit, faith-based organization with the primary mission of assisting single parent families with the tremendous challenges they face. The Adventure Center at Walton Oaks in Augusta is operated by Hope for Augusta. Children receive afternoon snack, homework help, Bible teaching, character-building, crafts, music, art, drama and sports activities. Camp scholarships are for the purpose of providing children with an opportunity to have a summer camp experience who normally might not be able to experience one because of financial constraints. Learn More
Five of our communities host a food co-op for residents, which is intended to help low to moderate income families who qualify under certain income limits to provide nutritious food for their family members. This program is run by the residents and provides approximately $100 worth of food per family every two weeks for a nominal $3 fee. The Food Security for America Program was started by the Georgia Avenue Presbyterian Church and is a non-profit, faith-based organization. The food that is distributed comes from the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Learn More
Legacy Centers are available in our active adult communities for residents 55 and over. (Walton Renaissance on Henderson is 62+). Our Senior Lifestyle Coordinators plan social, educational and cultural activities, as well as off-site outings. Learn More
